The “Three Sisters” Vineyard sits at the very top of the second ridge in from the Pacific Ocean, approximately 1260 feet above sea level in the “Fort Ross-Seaview” appellation. To describe the surrounding terrain as “rugged”, or the site as “remote”, doesn’t really begin to even capture it.
From a tiny vineyard that holds a big place in our hearts, comes a wine with a singularly distinct voice.
This was the very first vineyard from which I made Pinot, and true to the place, it shows the delicate and charming side of Pinot- and reminds me of SaraLee Kunde, which always make me smile....
