We are partnering with Canine Companions for Independence. CCI is a fantastic non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.
The assistance dogs they breed, raise and train aren’t just the ears, hands and legs of their human partners. They’re also goodwill ambassadors and often, their best friends. They open up new opportunities and new possibilities and spread incredible joy. CCI unites people with dogs in a powerful program that leads to greater independence and confidence.
The event is called the “Wine Road’s Paws 4 Wine”, and the goal is to help them spread the word about their program, what they provide, and more. We are donating 25% of our gross receipts for the day to CCI. There will be some nibbles, fun wines (all those new ones we just released), and probably “a little somethin’ somethin’" under the bar from our library. And rumor has it there will be puppies!!!
Complimentary for members and a guest or two! For non-club members, $20 tasting fee, waived with bottle purchase.
